October 2012 German Shepherd national Show Loveland Colorado Xena came close to qualifying in her two days of agility. Xena at 12 was the oldest dog showing in any class at the national show. Xena qualified in both Rally Advanced B and Excellent B for a 3rd leg toward her RAE2 Xena took 2nd place in Veteran Bitch 9 & Over, a class of champions and one Grand champion. Oct 19 I got the required certificates in for her Dual Award Excellent and for her grandmother, Sabrina's Dual Award Excellent also.
September 16 Xena Completed her Herding Tested title! In doing that, she also completed the requirements for the German Shepherd Dog Club of America PAM (Performance Award of Merit)! Typically only about 9 dogs per year receive that award and there are very few who are also champions in the breed ring.
August 11, Xena turned 12 and Joined the Thirteen Club July 21 Xena passed the Therapy Dog Test for TDI May 28 Xena finished her MXP - Master Agility Excellent Preferred title!	Xena is currently working on Herding and an HT title. Here she is rounding up some sheep shortly after her 12th birthday. They thought they could elude the "old" dog

JJuly 2012 Black Forest Amelia Earhart RN TC, OFA H&E was named #9 dam in the 2011 GSDCA Annual Training Achievement Awards. Although she passed on two years ago and had only one offspring, Xena, representing her she lives on!	Amy at 13

Dec 3 Xena finished her Beginner Novice title at the Rottweiler trial Dec 4 Xena completed her 7th leg toward her MXP taking 2nd place at the Border Collie of America trial
TCOTC Nov 25,26,and 27 Xena won two Excellent Standard Preferred classes and one Excellent Jumper Preferred class finishing her Excellent Jumper Preferred title and getting two more legs toward her MXP title. Yeah!
Nov 12 Xena captured her second leg in Excellent Jumpers with Weaves Preferred with a 4th place and another leg toward her Master Agility Excellent Preferred title with a 3rd place in Excellent Standard Preferred.
Sept-Oct 2011 We went to the nationals! Xena was 3rd in Standard Excellent Preferred agility the first day and 2nd in Jumpers With Weaves the second day. She also participated in the Parade of Greats and was given 2nd place out of 7 champion bitches in the Veteran Bitch 9 and over class. July 2 Xena completed her Agility Excellent Title AXP! On July 3 she got her first leg toward her MXP Master agility Excellent Preferred!. New pictures coming soon! Xena finished her Open Agility Preferred title March 19 and got her first leg in Excellent Agility Preferred on March 20 both with scores of 100 and 1st places. She also got her first leg in Open Jumpers with Weaves Preferred with a 95 and third place. April 9 Xena got her second leg in Open Jumpers preferred and 1st place. April 10 Xena got her Third leg in Open Jumpers preferred, finishing her title.

Nov 13 Xena Got her first agility title, NJP with a score of 100! And Nov 14 Xena completed her NAP title with a 90.
Now Grand Champion Zeus! Zeus was the 8th German Shepherd to finish the new Grand Champion title July 11 2010
Am & Can Ch Mythical Zeus of Black Forest was named #10 dog in the breed standings for 2009 and #14 in the All Breed standings

4/11/2010 Xena competed in her first agility trials and placed second in Novice Standard Preferred completing her first leg toward the NAP title.

XENA 2009
Xena qualified in Rally Excellent and Rally Advanced on Nov 28 and 29 at the Rottweiler trials grabbing two more legs toward her RAE Just 4 to go! Meanwhile her son Zeus went Best of Breed at shows in Kankakee IL and took a group 4 one day.

Xena Went to TCOTC Oct 17-18 and qualified in Rally Excellent and Rally Advanced both days completing 2 more legs of her RAE title - just 6 more to go!

Sabrina's memorial garden Memorial Day weekend 2009 After a lot of carrying on the dogs gave in and decided to sit somewhere near the Sabrina memorial garden for a family portrait. In the front is Xena (age 8 1/2), behind her is Amy (14 1/2) and to the right is Gabby (8 1/2). The statue behind them was painted with Sabrina's markings, but looks nothing like her.

Jan 19, Amy went to the Rainbow Bridge to Join her mother Sabrina, and her friend Sam. Amy 2008 June 21-22 German Shepherd Dog Club of Minneapolis and St Paul - Amy was second to her daughter Xena both days in Veteran bitch at age 13 1/2. After that she went into the Rally Novice ring winning the first day with a score of 99 out of 100 and tying for first the second day with a 97. We were 1 second slower than the other team and were awarded 2nd place. Amazing for a dog her age. July 17. 2008 Black Forest Amelia Earhart RN was named #10 Dam in the 2007 Annual Training Achievement Award program of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America!

	AMY 2007 Amy joined the GSDCA Thirteen Club in January. May 26 Amy got her first Rally Novice leg at Key City KC with a score of 95! May 27 second Rally Novice leg at Key City KC with a score of 87. June 9 third leg in Rally Novice with a 93 at the Lake Minnetonka show finishing her RN title June 24 Amy got her 4th Rally Novice leg with a score of 95!

Yeah Zeus! June 9 Lake Minnetonka KC match Mythical Zeus of Black Forest was Best of Breed and took Group 3! Aug 4 Zeus got his first point in Bismarck going Winner's Dog and Best Opposite at the age of 6 1/2 months. Aug 18 and 19 Zeus took Reserve Winner's dog At W Burlington IA. He was also Best of Breed Puppy and Group 1 in the match. Sept 1 Zeus was Reserve Winner's Dog in Cedar Rapids IA and Sept 2 he took Winner's Dog for one more point! Oct 6-7 Lincoln NE, Zeus took Winner's Dog both days and was Best Opposite Sex to Geneva on Sunday Oct 13 Reserve Winner's Dog Oct 14 Zeus went Winner's Dog for 1 more point! Now he has 5 points at 8 months of age. Nov 18 Best of Breed at Mpls KC for 2 Pts! Dec 8 Winner's Dog in St Cloud 2 more points He now has 9 points. Zeus at the Futurity	August 2008 August 22 St Croix Valley KC, Zeus was Winner's Dog, Best of Winners and Best Opposite completing his US Championship title at 19 months! July 2008 July 13 Duluth - Zeus went Winner's Dog and Best of Winners for 3 more points! Just 3 points to go for his American championship. June 2008 Zeus finished his Canadian championship! Can. CH Mythical Zeus of Black Forest 4 Best of Winners 4 Best of Opposite Sex 1 Best of Breed 1 Group 1st

Zeus 2009	Zeus has over 20 Best of Breed awards so far this year and a Group 1, and Group 3 Some of Zeus' s recent wins March 28 & 29 Best of Breed Clinton KC April 18 & 19 Best of Breed Fond Du Lac KC April 26 Best of Breed Heart of Iowa KC May 1, 2, 3 Best of Breed all three days Badger KC & Group 4 On May 3 May 23 Best Opposite Key City KC May 24 Zeus B.O.B. Key City KC May 29 Fox River KC Best of Breed May 30 Fox River KC Best Opposite May 31 Stone City KC Best of Breed FLASH Zeus is in the top 25 German Shepherd Dogs in The Eukanuba standings for 2009!
Zeus 2010	Zeus' BOB's and group wins are too many to mention but he was named the 8th German Shepherd to earn the title of Grand Champion by the AKC on July 11 2010.

Xena went Best of Breed at St Croix Valley and took 2nd in the Herding Group August 21, 2004 shown by Christy Heiman.

Herding August 2009



July 18 Xena passed the Canine Good Citizen test and won Rally Excellent and Rally Advanced at the GSDC MSP sanctioned B match
June 20-21 GSDC Mpls/St Paul Specialty shows Xena was 1st in Veteran Bitch both days. She will celebrate her 9th birthday on August 11.

She Captured her first two legs toward her CD with a 182 and a 182 1/2 and placed 2nd in Rally Excellent B and in Rally Advanced B the first day and 2nd in Rally Excellent B and 1st in Rally Advanced B the second day completing the first 2 legs of her RAE title . In addition she was high scoring also shown in breed both days
June 6 A Rotta Love ATTS Temperament Test Xena passed to gain her TT status. She was really great on the umbrella test. Xena has been training in obedience, herding, and agility this year. She is keeping busy as she approaches her 9th birthday.
XENA 2008 Jan 3 Xena got her first Rally Excellent leg at St Paul Dog Training Club. Jan 25 Xena got her second Rally Excellent leg at the North Star Herding Group Rally Trial. Jan 27 Xena finished Her Rally Excellent title at the North Star Herding Group Trial June 21 and 22 Xena won the Veteran bitch class both days July 3 Xena visited her brother Riot XENA 2007 January Xena had her first litter sired by Bailey June 23 & 24 Xena got her first and second Rally Advanced legs at the German Shepherd Dog Club of Mpls/St Paul Oct 5 Xena got her 3rd Rally advanced leg finishing her RA title at St Paul Dog Training Club. Xena had 3 male puppies 01/16/07 sired by Ch Kenlyn's Aries V Hi-Cliff (Bailey). Xena's puppies have all been sold. Write or call about the next litter.
