Amy is always ready for action

Amy got her first Rally Novice Leg May 26 2007 at the age of 12 1/2. She scored 95 out of 100!   This was her first attempt after only a few weeks of rally training.

Amy got her second rally leg May 27 scoring 87.  Go Amy!

Amy started out as an escape artist and explorer and I considered naming her Escape Pod.  I finally decided on Amelia Earhart because of her adventurous nature. Amy is fearless, and  a devoted mother.  Her mother, Sabrina was a permissive parent, but that didn't carry on to Amy.  Amy was a strict disciplinarian and often amazed Sabrina as she watched how Amy took care of her pups.  Bri would look into the whelping box with obvious disapproval at times and start to take a step into the whelping box to show Amy how to care for her puppies.  Amy would give her a very clear look of "Bug off mother these are MY puppies and I'll raise them MY way".  Bri would then step back and walk away.   It looked almost like human mother/daughter interactions.

Amy in her favorite place.   She loves to sit on "her" couch and watch the neighbors.   She just knows I put in the big bow window just for her.  She likes to keep track of all the neighbors.  I'm sure she knows more about them than I do.  Here she is after a long hard day of surveillance.
